BLACK & WHITE MARIMEKKO PRINT COTTON APRON

Bee-Bop found this amazing 100% cotton fabric in Helsinki, Finland---home of Marimekko. The oversized black and white design is truly striking!

See pic for description of fabric---it's a definite throwback from the 70's that was re-printed in 2005! The name of the pattern is 'SAMOVAARI' and the designer was Maija Isola.

It ties at the neck with grossgrain ribbon and the apron is serged in black thread. The black and white print waist ties may be tied in the back or front.
